About Jesus Christ
We are created for a loving, intimate and personal relationship with God. Chosen to shine God's image, be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and govern it God's way. However humanity was deceived by Satan and willfully chose to reject God by putting our own way above God's way. This is called sin. Sin opened the door to Satan, released death and caused broken relationship with God. Our desire to do things our own way has consumed the human heart and put self above all else, as if God no longer matters. All the problems and issues we face in our world can be traced back to this state of the human heart without God. Even though we deserved our consequences, God loved us so much He refused to leave us without hope, broken and oppressed. God sent us a gift of release, rescue and restoration in His son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to earth and gave His life in exchange for our sin. All we have to do is respond to God's gift by choosing to believe Jesus and decide that God's way of doing things is best. As we do this we receive God's forgiveness. This is called Salvation and the beginning of our relationship with God. God's love and salvation in Jesus is available to everyone, no matter who we are, where we have come from or what we have done. Jesus is able to release, rescue and restore our lives. God's desire is that no one should miss out on receiving Jesus, restored relationship and eternal life with God.
